Para.60
Drafts, except very simple drafts which may be written on the current itself, if there is room, shall be written or typewritten in half margin on sheets of paper distinct from those containing the notes, with which they shall not be tagged while the case is under disposal.

Para.61
At the head of every draft letter, proceedings or memorandum, the title must be drawn. It should be framed and arranged exactly like index file. 

In a draft proceedings or memorandum the list of addressees in entered at the bottom of the draft on the left hand side. 

Para.67
 Much time and labour is saved if, in simple cases, the office submits a fair copy and an office copy simultaneously, typed together. In simple cases, the precise wordings are more or less immaterial, provided there is no ambiguity.

Para.72
When a petition is rejected, reason for the rejection should, as far as possible, be given in the draft order.
Petitions and communications from private parties should be acknowledged immediately on receipt. 

Para.74
The letter “N” prefixed to the number of a reference or disposal means that the papers are sent out in original, when an N. references is made, an N. Reference slip (Form. IV, Appendix. I) should be filled up and kept to take the place of the file, unless there is a note file. 

Para.75
In communications, which are of the nature of authorizations of payments to be made, the amounts should clearly express in words as well as in figures.
